This is an increasing phenomenon. Individual sole traders are now doing the same jobs that many companies have done in the past and for much cheaper. Wayne Feranda’s situation is very similar to my own – it’s very easy for us to undercut the big players because we have; no premises, staff wages, secretaries, marketing department or expensive overheads inflating our budget. The consumer saves heaps, Wayne gets paid a lot more by working for himself and the middleman is cut out of the equation.

Wayne has worked well with teams of sparkies in the past and for larger more marketing savvy companies and now wants to go it alone. Good on you Wayne. The world needs a cheaper, more reliable sparky and there’s plenty of work to go around. Great to see you going Solar!
