Lessons Learned Late

Well, as you may or may not know, besides developing websites, I also teach at Curtin University and Open Universities Australia. But – like many of my naughty students with late assignments – I left marking said assignments to the very last minute. I did a good job (imho) but wasn’t comfortable doing with a deadline approaching at such a speedy pace. It meant getting up, marking all day and night and finally going to bed late. Difficult because I’ve just joined Bootcamp and have to be up at 4:50am every second day.

The wrong thing I did : I waited for all the late assignments to come in before I started marking. I should mark assignments as they arrive. With over 200 assignments in different units, I can say I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way. THAT won’t happen again.
