I’ve been working on the BTA website. It’s a pretty big one with lots of functionality and payment systems. I’ve used WordPress for the Content Management System as my client found it very easy to update their website. We decided to get the site up and running as quickly as possible so that people could see it working while it is being built.
The framework and functionality are all there, but I’ve yet to add graphics and logos and pick a colour scheme etc. But the site is up and fully functioning and they’ve already had some new members join via the PayPal system.
The BTA are currently running a bicycle photo competition, so if you have any old photos lying around with bikes in them and you’d like to win a t-shirt, enter now. The winner will be announced in time for Christmas. I’m really enjoyed building this very functional site and I’m looking forward to starting on the graphical elements. It’s a lot of fun.
