Geoffrey Multimedia just completed an on-line banner ad campaign for the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle, Western Australia. This include creating a series of banners of different sizes to display on other websites which would link back to the FTI’s student recruitment page.
Banners bring extra traffic back to your website. It’s a good idea to link the banner to a landing page which can catch information about your traffic. For example, if you are selling on-line courses, it’s best to link the banner ad to the course page – not your home page. And it’s also a good idea to catch potential course members by having a simple form for the potential student to fill in. By capturing potential student names and phone numbers, a business can follow-up with a phone call.
